3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Leighton (6961) - London, ENGLAND - APR 1, 2013
Bottle at the ChrisO Snow Tasting, London - one of my contributions!!! Pours clearish, brown-red with a fine, creamy tan cap. Sugary brown bread in the nose. Big sweet flavor, simple, with semi-dark malts, brown sugar, toffee. Medium to full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming finish with more sugary brown bread. Simple stuff on the whole.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 FatPhil (7498) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - FEB 18, 2013
750ml bottle (Snow@ChrisO)
Old, aged, papery aroma. Flat. Papery palate and taste. Dull. No hint of 7%, but still not a very good beer. Sticky and mashy and malty.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thirdeye11 (5001) - Dallas, Texas, USA - FEB 17, 2013
(75cl dated 8-9-11 thanks to bu11zeye) clear brown copper with wispy tan bubbles. Nose of rich raisin, brown sugar, honey and caramel. Taste of brown sugar, lightly roasty, honey, a bit watery in the finish.
2.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 MrW (227) - Londerzeel, BELGIUM - FEB 11, 2013
75cl bottle.
Dark red/brown beer, no head.
I just didn’t like it. There was something wrong in the taste.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Scopey (3246) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 26, 2013
Bottle at ChrisO Snow Tasting, thanks to Leighton. It pours deep ruby-brown with a small off-white head. The nose is candy cane, caramel, wood, spice and earth. The taste is wood, earth, spice, candy, cola, leather, orange peel, tinned peach, plum, prune and raisin, with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Perhaps a bit thin for the style and fairly unexciting.

Bottle at Chriso’s snow tasting 20/01/2013. Chesnut brown with a big beige head. Nice belgian yeast esters aromas. Some raisin and alcohol nose. High carbonation. Plum raisin in the flavour and dry finish. Not bad, but lacks depth.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Jcarb28 (69) - Pico Rivera, California, USA - JAN 6, 2013
Dark in color on the pour, fruity flavor with a hint of spices at the end on the palate. Good dubbel overall.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 vadie (210) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 12, 2012
Un nez minimale. Il est très opaque avec une mousse brune qui a reste pour environs 10 min. Il a très peu carbonation. Le goût est bon mais le reste de l’experience n’est pas assez pour me faire dire que c’est une très bonne bière.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 meerbier (1197) - Pijnacker, NETHERLANDS - OCT 15, 2012
Bottle@Home. Malty and light fruity aroma. Brown, beige head, good lace. Sweet, light bitter, malty, hint of sugar. Easy, not bad.
