bottle - hazy yellow orange beer with a thick white head. Fruity banana aroma. Flavour is strong, sweet and fruity. Refreshing.

UPDATED: OCT 13, 2011 Well, I enjoyed drinking this Belgian beer, though one can’t deny that it tasted peculiar. Less sweet than certain other tripels, had a bit of an edge to it, I felt. Rather fizzy, went all over the place when I opened it (the butler had the night off, most inconvenient)-glad I was in the parlour.

330ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam)
Pale gold, fizzy then scummy head. Aroma like soup. Some pulses in there, and corn too. Pleasant carbonation, and plenty of lively fruity esters, some quite heavy such as melon, head up the nose.Fairly thin body, but a decent light-grain backdrop supports some quite biting hops. More blonde than tripel, as it actually covers the alcohol pretty well. However, there’s a touch of glue (ethyl acetate) in it instead, which detracts from the tastier parts. Hops were nice, but the rest was a let-down.

bottle, pours deep gold with a thin white head. Aromas of corn white sugar and malt. Light malt and extemely faint hops in the finish. Boring.

Yellow color with a huge white long lasting head. The aroma is strong with a little fruit. The taste is marked with alcohol combined with a little more sweetness than typical in a triple.

Big foamy white head. Clear appearence. Classic tripel smell. Strong alcoolic beverage that hide too much of the banana ( surprising ), orange and yeast taste. A typical belgian tripel.

I liked this one quite a bit. Pours slightly orange and hazy. Alcohol is quite pronounced but not overpowering. Perfect carbonation in my opinion. Overal, very nice Belgian.
