Bottle. Golden, big white head. Hoppy yeasty aroma, some alcohol. Alcohol flavor, some yeast, some hops.

Draft. Pours hazy dark orange and with a thick off-white head. Scent is yeasty with spices. Taste is yeasty and spicy with a sweet finish.

Typical triple-aroma has soapy citrus and hints of yeast. Flavour has some citrus, honey but unfortunately also some harsh alcohol. Oily and alcohol-like palate. Quite ok tripel, but nothing much.

Pretty clear dark golden color. Smell a little sweet, not much more, pretty standard. Taste also nothing special. Average Belgian Tripel.

Clear yellow with a quiet white head. Subtle nose of wheat, lemon peel and sour corn. Palate is a good bubbly alcohol bite, and the flavor is a mild (for 9%) semi-thick lemon and honey. A good tripel, but not outstanding.

Grimbergen Tripel. Goldene Farbe und ein etwas grobporiger Schaum, der aber lange vorhält.
Der Geruch gibt sich fruchtig - karamellartig, leider auch etwas dumpf und schwer.
Antrunk und Mitte fallen fruchtig aus , mit lackartigen Aromen.Malziger Hintergrund. Die 9% Alkohol kommen besonders im Abgang durch.
Kein schlechtes Triple - dennoch fehlt mir die Frische anderer Vertreter dieser Sparte. Insgesamt noch gut trinkbar, aber auch schwer und etwas düster. Test vom 23.10.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Good tripel. Aroma of grapes, raisins and some citrus and fruity yeast. Colour is clear golden, with a firm white head on top. Good carbonation in the glass. Flavour is sweet, followed by a bready dryness. Really good mouthfeel and well balanced flavours and aroma’s. Defintely one to remember.

9%? Nicht zu schmecken. Ein sehr süffiges Bier wird einem vorgesetzt, die Schaumkrone ist schon mal königlich. Der Geschmack überzeugt auf ganzer Linie mit einem zuerst (leicht) fruchtigen, dann eher süßlich bitterem Aroma, nur im Nachgeschmack ist eine leichte (!) Alkoholnote zu erschmecken. Ein ausgeglichenes Bier und unerwartet süffig!
