bottle some time ago. poured a deep golden yellow colour with a white head, not one of my favourite tripel. taste was bitter-sweet with honey, apricots and plums. the body was a bit thin with an average carbonation.

30cl flesje. Lichte kleur. Witte schuimkraag. Goede alcohol smaak.

33CL bottle at home, yellow beer with a medium white head, aroma and taste is fruity, taste is also a bit creamy, i like this beer although it is kind of mass-produced.

Not bad but quite mainstream to me. I actually like the taste, but there is nothing special or exiting going on. As with the other Grimbergen beers I would finish a bottle of this rather quickly instead of sitting back and taking the time to enjoy it.

Does not smell nice. Smells chemical. Looks golden (not metaphorically), good color. Also tastes fine. Sweet, complex, bitter taste, with a perfect amount of carbonation. A bit flat, though. Nice alcohol taste. However, the mouthfeel sucks. It doesn’t drink nice. The after taste is metally, very bitter and chemical. Overall, average.

33cl bottle. Clear golden with medium to big head. NOSE : hay and citrus zest with nail polish. Barnyard, caramel, pepper and floral aromas in the background. SIP : medium body, creamy texture with good carbonation. Sweet from grains married well with floral and caramel notes. Fruity background of typical apricot/banana but slightly dominated by citrus crisp. Booze taste is moderate and reminds a bit of not aged whisky. Aftertaste has delicate hop bitter and floral presence. OVERALL : smooth and creamy body makes it more drinkable. Nail polish like esters and warming booze is something one has to look for choosing this beer.
