33cl bottle at Kulminator. Best before 2008-05-23. Golden colour with a white creamy head. Aroma is yeasty, but a bit off. Some unrecognized spice. Flavour is full with notes of citrus, yeast, spices. Some carbonation.

Served into a Unibroue tulip. A: Golden with a big foamy head, looks well bodied when poured. S: Hops, banana, vanilla, a little bit soapy, sweet. T: Same as the smell, but taste a little bit like copper, it has some carbonation feel, it’s a little bit warming but the alcohol it’s very well masked. Overall it’s a good beer, can have another one any time. Serving type: bottle

Bottle. A slightly hazy, pale golden body is topped with a massive white head. Aroma is a bit too mild, with only a few whiffs of floral wine yeast surfacing at all. Taste is heavy molasses, sour ale yeasty tones and metallic hints in the aftertaste. Not too good, and far too sweet. Could have been a bad bottle, perhaps? I might re-rate at some point.

Not much of an aroma to type about, looks good though, but the head on mine disappeared quickly. Tastes the part. A good example of the Tripel style.

Pours a pale, slightly hazy straw yellow. Candy, yeastiness and some maltiness in the aroma. Sweet, with some citrus. Yeasty, sweet finish.

Golden body, thick white head. Yeast, sweet malt, alcohol and noble hops are well balanced in this beer. Perfect mouthfeel.
