33 cl bottle. A little colder than room temperature. Nice aroma of floral herbs, spicey, slightly metalic. Golden color. Huge rocky head, a lot bigger that the Dubble, although I used a tulip glass for this one. Head fades. Sweet spicey, candi sugar, yeasty herbal taste with some alcohol warmth. Lively carbonation. Very nice Triple IMO. I have always liked this beer. Thanks Grimbergen!

Golden colour with a thin head, sweet malt aroma and fruity malty taste, very much like a strong version of Grimbergen Blond.

Bottled 33cl. It pours an almost clear golden beer with a huge head. Grainy nose which is reminiscent of apple, cork and acetone- poor. Sweet alcoholic taste. Some banana, arabic gum and glue showing up. Decent lacework. Strong carbonation. Metallic. Cloying sweet finish which is remininscent of apple and banana. I didn’t enjoy this beer.

33cl bottle, as shown. Hazy golden yellow colour - big, fluffy white head that collapses rapidly but leaves plenty of lacing. Aroma of oranges and floral herbs, some hops. Carbonation is low, body medium, mouth feel creamy. This is a triple, like most of them are, for sweettooths. Taste is sweet orchard fruit, balanced by some acidity and spicy herbs, with the 9 % abv all too obvious in the boozy subnote. Dry, spicy finish and lingering after taste. Guaranteed too make you drunk - also, I guess, to make you happy. If you don’t like sweetish, boozy beers, steer clear of Abbey Tripels in general!
