Served into a Unibroue tulip.
A: Golden with a big foamy head, looks well bodied when poured.
S: Hops, banana, vanilla, a little bit soapy, sweet.
T: Same as the smell, but taste a little bit like copper, it has some carbonation feel, it’s a little bit warming but the alcohol it’s very well masked.
Overall it’s a good beer, can have another one any time.

Brought back from Belgium in my suitcase! Pours crystal golden with a lot of effervescense. Creates a white pillowey head that recedes to a long lasting cover. Medium body triple with fruitiness and spicy overtones. Very good triple. Just enough hop presence to offset the sweetness. Body gets a little heavy as it warms up.Overall, very drinkable.

Assaggiata in bottiglia da 33 cl.
Ottimo aspetto con una schiuma fine e compatta su un colore giallo intenso e opaco. L’aroma è floreale e maltato, intenso ma non violento. AL palato e corposa, ben equilibrata e con un gusto pieno, L’alcool si sente ma si fonde bene con il malto su un corpo pieno e quasi cremoso. Il tutto fluisce armoniosamente in un finale amaro e piacevole senza essere troppo violento o soffocato dalla gradazione alcoolica.

I’ve found grimbergen tripel to be a little sticky, too sweet, citrus, fruity.

A great honey-laced brew. If you like honey, this is yours! Good before the meal, then chuck for a good merlot. Don't listen to the locals, hammer this one cold, very cold.
