I straightforward, well constructed tripel. The usual blend of light fruit tastes, any alocoholic aroma. Crisp and delicious.

33cl bottle at home. I had this beer at several occassions. Last year I was able to buy 9 cases at 3euro/case (because they changed the logo). So I have been drinking this one a lot for the last 1,5 years. My conclusion is that it is just getting better and better. Now the beer is almost 2 years old, it has been nicely kept dark etc. The flavours are just getting so good, better balanced, also in the flavour. A lot more fruits, yeast. This becomes a really nice triple, after for about 1,5 years (so a half year past it’s best before date). So don’t drink this one too young, let it age for a little!

UPDATED: MAR 5, 2012 Bottle. Clear goldblond colour with a white head. Medium sweet aroma with some citric notes. Complex well balanced taste with light fruit together with flavors of citrus and some banana. And a slight caramel sweetness in the end. Another cracker from Grimbergen.

Very nice clovey nose with some pepper and a lot of sweet citrus. Pours gold with some good lace. Flavour is great - complex fruit and malt with herb and spice coming through thick and fast and finishes long and astringent on the back of the tongue (in a good way). A really nice triple that sits up there with the best - albeit slightly let down by too much carbonation. I think I still prefer the double, but this one is a winner as well.

UPDATED: APR 9, 2006 Pours hazy golden with a large head and a sweet citrussy aroma.Taste is a tripel but with a sweet kick up the ass. Quite surprised by this bottle from what is an (overlooked/common?) brewery.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2007 Garrafa.

Creme denso e consistente. Final longo e doce, que traz sugestões amadeiradas. Ótima cerveja.

UPDATED: JAN 4, 2012 33cl. bottle. It pours an unclear deep golden liquid with a very high white head and a precious lacing. Malty background, spices, alcohol and fruit. Full bodied. Warm, complex and nicely balanced brew.
