[Draught at Delirium Café] Amber colour, not very rich head for a triple. Fruity, gluey nose. Little sticky malt profile with a fruity tone. One-dimensional, and that is the sweetness. Where is the almond paste? The tropical fruits? The...the...triple?

Bottle. Heavy yeasty, bread sweetness, strong citrus and vinegar smell, sparkling wine comesto my mind. The head is small and white, virtually none lacing and mostly dimishing. The yellow body is cloudy/muddy. The flavor is sweet and acetic, medium duration and body with a lively carbonation. Not bad, but a Leffe Bruin or a Floreffe Bruin is more appreciated.

Bottle. Whoa this sucks. Pours a clear yellow with an okay white head that leaves okay lace. Aroma is corn, sugar, light maltiness. Taste is loaded with candi sugar, booze, and not much else. Ick.

From a bottle in Brussles, Belgium august 2011. Golden, clear, big white head. Hoppy, citrus, fresch some alcohol aromas. Tastes sweet licorice, citrus and alcohol.

I was expecting alot more from this brew.Frothy white head, medium carbonation.thin golden body. The alcohol was well hidden behind a taste that i just can´t put my finger on.This beer bored me.

Can’t be excited about this even after downing many, bored by the lack of beer-enthusiasm in Mont Martre, France. I tried this on draught in a ’Jamaican’ bar of all things, the least of which I expected, or didn’t expect at all, in this affluent quarter of the already pompous realm of gaye Parie.
Into its own chalice from the tap. Poured an oily yellow with a touch of darker shade. Limp, layer of white cream donned it, leaving no lace. Aroma was too subtle but held some white bread, yeast and cantaloupe. In the mouth it was harsh, chilled and fizzy. Licks of subtleties developed but didn’t enthral. House yeast, cantaloupe and candied lemon, soft pear and vanilla in back Harsh swallow, warming, little length. I drank this because it was there, a bottled version would be a better determination. I didn’t like it as is. Yet, in beer devoid Paris this wasn’t too bad. Extra points!

UPDATED: JUN 30, 2005 A bit dark for a tripel. Sweet taste, a little sour. Lots of carbonation. Taste isn’t great. Perhaps the worst tripel I’ve tasted.
Fruity and a little yeasty nose. Clear, golden coloured with a huge, white head. Taste is too sweet, bit hoppy, fruity. alcohol clearly present. Bit cheap brew.
