Bottle. A clear one, chestnut in color and with a small, dense, off-white head. Raisins in the aroma, with company of some malts, spent grains and a touch of cooked vegetables. Not very interesting, but sure drinkable though. The flavor is pretty much the same, it could use some more sugar and bitterness, with the dried fruits and malts. Medium body, soft and low level of carbonation. Dried fruits in the finish. Well, sure drinkable, and quite cheap, but not very interesting. 130430

330ml bottle, poured into Leffe Chalice. Very dark auburn colour, hazy, decent thick, tanned head, good lacing retention. Aroma was yeast, oak and molasses. Tasted malt, brown sugar, molasses, yeast and cranberry. Smooth texture, slightly thick body, not overly carbonated. Fairly similar to the Dubbel, but less sticky. Decent enough.
