Bottle thanks to Perrin515. Pours reddish amber with creamy white head. Nose and taste of sweet malt, caramel sap, dried citrus fruits and baked cookies. Medium body. On the sweeter side for the style. Clean.

Pour on tap at the CO rare beer tasting 2012, dark orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, spice, earth, some biscuit and bready notes, hints of red fruits, slightly tart notes as well. Taste is a mix of caramel, spice, earth, grain, some dark red fruits, spice notes, finishing fairly bitter, dry. Just ok.

UPDATED: OCT 11, 2012 Rackhouse Colorado Rare Beer Tasting. Re-rate. Not sure what I was rating last time but this was much better this time around. Pours an orangish appearance with an off white head. Sweet, slightly toasty malty, but well balanced aroma. Crisp straw, hay, grainy, light vanilla flavor. Quite pleasant.
