Bottle.
Pours a cloudy yellow with a nose of piss and malt. Flavor is malted lemon urine. Watery mouthfeel. Embarrassing.

Bomber. Poured cloudy medium golden with a white head on top. The aroma picked up an odd, sour, metallic/herbal hit over warm honey and mulling spices.. intriguing, but it didn’t seem quite right. The flavor opened with tangy wheat and metallic notes, followed by honeycomb and molasses.. syrupy core.. aforementioned sour stuff plus warm banana on the finish. Medium-bodied, dry, sour, and a little spicy on the palate.. didn’t flow that well.. weird stuff.

Light brown body, lacey. Aggressive carbonation. Honey and mollasses. Not great, thanks Jason B.

Clear honey-golden with a thin head that was something between bubbly and foamy. Nose was fruity, like light honey with some generic apple, maybe some slightly boozy chewy pale cereal malt tones toward the back. Flavor was a bit confusing. Started honey sweet, but got a little stronger with fruity yeasty esters, slight citrus, ending with a boozy warm yeasty finish. Citrus gets more pronounced when it warms a bit. There’s some molasses in there but I’m not sure how to describe it--not that simple. Definitely spicy sweet heavy like molasses. But also kina like apple. Confusing.

Thanks to adnielsen for this one in trade. Cheers, Aaron! Pours a hazy yellow with a white head that recedes. Nose is bread/ grains, honey, sugar, brown sugar, and a hint of yeast. Flavor is similar with immediate banana, honey, and sugar burst that recedes into a slightly citrusy sweet mid, then leaves with a somewhat dry yeasty in the finish. Interesting beer.

22 oz bottle from the brewry Nice golden honey colored pour with a firm, white top. Light, flowery aroma. Perfume, rose petals, morning dew. Body is crisp and light with lots of honey and rose petal notes. Yeast plays second fiddle with light esthery notes that play off the hops. Beautifully delicate style that took some thought to imperialize. I tried the regular version at the brewpub and this is a nice "beefed" up version without stressing the beer. Way to go Grimm!

Bottle thanks to Kaagie at August tasting. Pours a cloudy orange gold with small white head. The aroma is a lemon peel and wheat. Thin mouthfeel with a bitter malt. Not much goin in with this one.

Bottle thanks to kaggie97 at the Houston August 2011 tasting. Pours bright yellow and clear. Nose is winey and wheaty. Taste is light wheat, a little acidic/alcohol going down. Not much else going on here-pretty plain.

Pour hazy orange/gold with a small white head. The aroma is sweet and malty with honey, cotton candy and milk caramel - even with all the sweetness it seems pretty clean. Medium / full body with a modest amount of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with lots of malt, honey, warm alcohol and velvety caramel. The finish is a bit warm and soothing and has some mineral and aspirin taste. Interesting beer.
