Light straw pour with a white head. Sweet bread and cracker malt and quite a lot of smoke. Notes of orange peel, some lemon, and a light fruity ester note. The flavor is fairly smokey as well. Orange and lemon zest, some cracker, and bread sweetness. Very light and would be quite bland if not for the smoke.

Clear golden with a thin white head. Aroma is kinda meaty with notes of salted pork and greasy smoke. Flavor is clean and balanced, between smokiness and malty sweetness. In truth, it tastes like a smoked blonde ale. Gentle greasy smokiness, mixed with an earthy pale malt grain flavor. Slight sausage tone on the finish. Overall a bit light but it’s exactly where it needs to be--any stronger and it would be gross. Gentle noble hop bitterness throughout.

Bottle from trader in CO, lemonade color with no head. Scent is a bit of wheat and a light smoke scent. Taste is smoke and a light sweetness with a bit of clove.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, smoke, wood - dry wood, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, wood smoke, malty, citrus notes. Bottle, 22oz. It’s a lighlty unclear one, golden-orange in color and topped by a small, white head. There’s a pleasant smoked aroma in this one, with fruityness in the back. Quite straight forward and one dimensional, but pleasant. There’s a pleasant bitterness in the flavor blending nicely with the smoke and fruityness. Medium body, quite dry. A tasteful and easy drinkable beer I wouldn’t mind having again. 130216
