Bottle. Deep golden colour with a beige head. Aroma is wheat, malt, caramel, banana, alcohol . Flavour is wheat, malt, banana, caramel. Full body. OK/Nice beer.

At Avery Beer Fest 2013--murky dark copper with a thin white head. Very yeasty aroma with loads of heavy bready tones, and a honey-like sweetness. Flavor is malty sweet with bready yeast tones, some caramel, and something slightly earthy on a semi sweet lingering finish.

It pours slightly hazy iced tea color from the bottle, with fluffy gradually dissipating tan head. Nice sweet aroma, banana, caramel, toffee, some booze, spicy notes, and dark fruits. The flavor is sweeet, dark fruits with light tartness in the finish, some fairly syrupy caramel, but the carb is adequate to pull it off. Light roastyness and just a touch of warmth round out this dark weizen.

Hazy medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate yeasty, glue, phenol, fruity, yeast, bubble gum. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol, caramel, yeasty, bubble gum. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130216]

Hazy amber with off-white head. Aroma dominated by clove, with some honey seeping in as well. Muted wheat character gives way to banana flavours. A distinct finish of banana bread.

Bottle. Pours amber with an off-white head. Aroma of toffee, caramel, malt, and some banana. Flavor is sweet and malty with some toffee, caramel and banana. medium body, average carbonation.

Pours slightly hazy amber with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, wheat, alcohol,banana and yeast. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle, 22oz. A murky orange-brown beer with some off-white bubbles as a head. Phenolic nose with alcohol, banana and caramel maltyness. The flavor is malty and phenolic, with lots of banana, and some faint lemony hints. Rather sweetish. Full body, almost sticky, with a nice carbonation. Not a very nice weizen bock this one. 130216

Bottle 65 cl. Courtesy of adnielsen. Pours a cloudy opaque reddish amber with a beige head. Sweet candied banana aroma. Rich, thick syrupy body, rather low carbonation. Thick caramel and toffee combined with banana and yeast. Almost cloyingly sweet. 160213

Bottle. Hazy dark amber/brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt, yeast, banana, caramel, toasted, phenols and toffee. Flavour is malt, yeast, banana, caramel, toasted, little toffee, medium sweet, phenols, dark fruits and a little plume.
