COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grisette Blanche belongs to the rich family of Belgian white beers. It is therefore very refreshing in summer. However, it remains a full-bodied, savoury beer offering lots of contrast. Its head is typical of wheaty beers - creamy and compact - with an opaque, hazy appearance

KyotoLefty (3480) - Kyoto, JAPAN - JUL 17, 2011
Bottle at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011. A typical Belgian Wit, very spicy, with orange. Sweeter than it should be. Not bad, but not really a good wit—too sweet, too much spice, but ok.

ekstedt (3624) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 28, 2011
Bottle (25 cl) from La Marché de Nathalie Brasserie, Bouillon, Belgium. Cloudy milk golden, large rocky white head. Overwhelming spicy aroma with soapy and perfumy coriander notes, and with a presumably nice phenolic and estery yeast character hovering in the background. Medium bodied and soft. Dry with low bitterness. This could propbably be a very good Wit with more reasonable amount of spices. Right now, it’s just a mess.

Pours a cloudy yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is malty, fruity with some hints of spices. Taste is orangy with some coriander and wheatiness. Texture is quite watery. Not too bad.

250ml bottle, about 8C. Cloudy yellowy orange with a tightly-packed white head. Very high bead. Aroma of lemon sherbet, cloves, white pepper, coriander seeds. Light-bodied but a bit creamy in texture. Taste has (mainly sweet, some sour) lemon pudding, light dough, spices at the end. A very good Wit.
