COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grisette Blanche belongs to the rich family of Belgian white beers. It is therefore very refreshing in summer. However, it remains a full-bodied, savoury beer offering lots of contrast. Its head is typical of wheaty beers - creamy and compact - with an opaque, hazy appearance.

Bottled. Hazy yellow colour with big foamy white head. Wheat, yeast, some fruits and weak skunky notes in aroma. Rich carbonation. Flavour is surprisingly sour, mainly of wheat, yeast and some fruity hints. Very dry palate, acidic sting in finish. Wheat and yeast in aftertaste.

Bottled at Pressklubben, Stockholm. Pale golden, some sediment, minimal head. Light citric nose with some coriander. Light bodied and rather lifeless with some brief wheat malt character before a short appley finish. A thin witbier lacking finesse, and with an industrial feel to it.

Bottle in Brussels. Cloudy, pale yellow pour with a large, frothy white head. Immensely pungent nose, loads of coriander spices, lemon, wheat. Medium sweet flavour with tangy lemon, lots of bready wheat, cloves, esters, coriander, whipped cream. Light bodied with average to lively carbonation. Sweet, lightly spicy finish with some sugary wheat, white bread, a touch of soap, and lemon. At times it’s a bit sweeter and potent than a witbier ought to be, but overall it’s nice.
