COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Grisette Blonde is a pale ale that is very refreshing in summer. When drunk at a moderate temperature, it releases aromas of a richness that it is seldom found in other beers of this strength. Its head is smooth and white. It has a light yellow colour.

Poured a golden amber in color with soft white head. Nose is spicy. Taste is sweet. Palate is dominated by coriander and cloves. B@H

33cl @ home, from Le marché de Nathalie Bouillon; pours golden with big white foam; almost no carbonation; malty smell; taste is grainy, watery, malty. Nothing special.

9/VII/13 - 33cl bottle from Caprice & Délice @ home - BB: 28/V/14 (2013-617)

Clear blond yellow beer, big aery white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, some citrus, hay, little grassy, sugary, fine hop smell reminding me of Duvel, so I’m thinking Saaz? MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: little sweet, grains, fruity impressions, bitter hops. Aftertaste: some citrus, bitter hops, little fruity, peaches, nice bitter ending. This could very well pass for a Belgian style IPA, I think. Very good session beer.

Flöska. Thanks for sharing Cecil. Hazy yellow. Nice big white ehad, creamish like. Yeasty soapy malty lightly fruity and spiced aroma. Ok mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet with yeast, malt, bit fruit. Mild to medium bitterness.

Bonne petite bière, une blonde légère et agréable. Pas trop forte ni trop marquée. Bien à déguster en ouverture.

Brown 25cl bottle, best before April 2008, drank July 2007. Poured into one of my Corsendonk tulip glasses. It is a slightly hazy golden colour with a good white foaming head. The aroma is yeasty with a sweetness, not unlike a freshly cut wheat or barley smell. The taste is a lot sharper than I was expecting and a whole lot more sour than most Belgian blondes I’ve had over the years. The tangy feel in the taste stays in the mouth and lingers well for a beer of 4.5%. There is no great depth to the flavours, but it is a well crafted drink. I found this beer to be very interesting and will seek it out again when next in Belgium, well worth getting a bigger bottle, if I see one.

Yellow coloured and hazy. Has a frothy, white head, mostly lasting. Aroma is a mix of herbal hops and perfumed spice. Moderate sweet flavor, finish moderate bitter. Creamy texture and soft carbonation.
