Bottle, 4.5%. Weak aroma of citric fruit. Hazy golden colour. Sparkling. Good, stable white head. The flavour has some citric fruit, slightly teaish. There is a thin malt base which does not really hold up to a weak but rough hop flavour.

Tasting at my place. Courtesy of Fonefan. Golden with a nice head. The aroma has notes of malt and citrus, but isn’t very powerful. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, citrus and the finish is slightly dry. Uncomplicated, but also boring.

Bottle. [thank you, Yespr]
Pours a light hazy yellow with a fine creamy white head. Good lacing. Aroma is sweet and very spiced - ginger and coriander dominating. Okay mouthfeel, but is perhaps a little thin. Flavour is softly sweet, light wheaty and with a lightly spiced finish.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 FatPhil (5970) - Tallinn, ESTONIA - MAR 5, 2008
275ml bottle (Cracked Kettle, Amsterdam) (BB2007, alas)
Pale cloudy yellow, thin light head, reminiscent of a wit. Aroma too is that of light spice and perfume, but also has a few denser and dustier hoppy components. Fairly watery mouthfeel, but not unpleasantly so. Refreshing light malt body, sweet fruity angles to it too, not really getting much in the way of hops. Leaves me wanting. Dear Affligem - please try a few hundred good English milds and bitters before saying absurdities such as "seldom found in other beers of this strength".
