COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously brewed at De Smedt/Affligem. Scintillating, fresh and delicately flavoured, Grisette Fruits des Bois is a light, refreshing beer that is brewed with the best malt and wheat. This blend creates a riot of sweet yet slightly bitter tastes redolent of wild berries and other exquisite fruits of the forest.

Let bitterhed. Medium tykkelse og tyngde.

Bottle, quickly dissapearing bubbley head, hazy burgundy red colour, fruity soury aroma with some wood and a hint of malt in the back, quite suprising, flavour is a melange of berries, not too sweet with light and pleasant sourness, lively carbonation. Fresh and suprisingly good.

Alsof je een cassis inschenkt. Zelfde kleur. Roze-paarse kleur met een volle roze schuimkraag. Ruikt naar kersen en bosvruchten. Smaakt als limonadesiroop. Dikke structuur.

Bottle. Clear deep red color with a pinkish head. Decent berries aroma, a bit acidic. Sweet berries flavor with a bit of pleasant acidity. Light-bodied with soft carbonation. Surprisingly quite refreshing and enjoyable.

0.25l bottle. This is a deep cloudy flour purple colored one with a small quickly islandy, bubbly and side sticking almost creamy head. It smells of faint fruits, but mainly plastic and soft sulfur. Not amazing at all. Oh, boy it’s sweet! Like drinking the stuff bartenders mix drinks with! Lots and lots of black currants mixed with blackberries. That in itself is not a bad combo in my book but it somehow does not work fantastic in this. In the finish it’s leaving a slightly sour lime acidity. That actually works somewhat against all the sticky sweetness in this. It tastes just a bit to weird to be good, but behind all the off-flavors there is an interesting fruitiness with wild berries. 11.03.2013

0.25 L bottle, picked up@Ølhandleriet, Oslo. A foggy ruby-red body, under a finger of red-shaded blond head. Smell of raspberry bon-bon dissolved in carbonated water. Hint of almonds. Taste is much the same, but a certain fruity acitity ensure that the beer is not totally undrinkable. Hops no option, neither malts. What to say? Soda Pop!
