Rather syrupy. Really odd aroma, nothing fruit beer like at all. Poor overall.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Reddish with slightly pink head. Berry aroma with some cellar to it along with a malty, pilsner-note that has elements of hops. Very sweet flavour with berries a plenty and a little maltiness as well. Slightly berry sourness...very slight. Not as bad as I had feared.

Bottled at the Great Japan Beer Festival, Osaka, 2011.
Looks like an average fruit beer, ok. Smells nice enough, raspberry. Amazingly sweet and syrupy, not like beer, just fake.

Bottle 250ml. Not too bad, but feels and looks unnatural. Aroma of dark fruit. Taste is sweet, with light sourness. Palate is thin and watery. Red, with a pink head.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
draft@Chez Moeder Lambic: looks like & smells like strawberry jam & syrup, taste follows the smell, sweet but not artificial mashed wild strawberries plus jam & syrup, the basis appears to be a wheat beer but the fruits really dominate, strucure is a bit jam-like but not thick, bit too sweat to drink to much, nice if you like jam or forest fruits but can quickly get too much

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at the Evening Star, Brighton. Pours a deep, hazy maroon with a foamy, white head. Holds a sweet, fresh berry aroma. Sweet flavor but not too cloying or syrupy, lots of berries with very faint bitterness. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Has a sweet, lingering berry finish with just a touch of crispness. Quite refreshing. Nice.
