3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz bottle. Cloudy orange color with a fluffy head. Looks gorgeous in the glass. This is characterized as a pale ale, but it's not hoppy or bitter enough for my taste. In fact, it's almost sweet. OK I guess for those cool summer evenings on the deck in Maine, but I'm not sure I'd order it after a cold day of lumberjacking. Anyway I'm a city boy.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught: This one pours a clear, golden color. It had a wisp of a white head on it that left a little lacing. The aroma is a bit lighter. Some malts, as well as grassy and earthy hop notes. The taste is clean, and leans towards the lighter side. Some malts, and a little earthy hops. A slightly dry finish. Pretty easy drinking.

3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a bright copper color with thin white head. Bready aroma. Mellow malt flavor is quickly taken out by a citrusy hop bitterness but just a touch, not a lot of hops but well balanced. Finishes dry. There was a hit of metallic flavor which I’m sure is not supposed to be there. I like all of Gritty’s products and like this one as well. Not as highly hopped as most APA and seems more like an English pale ale.

Light to ,Edith sweet flavor, mild bitter pine needles, some leaves, a bit of ripening orange. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish with very faint citrus, leaves, pine. Again, a very basic beer.

2.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Clear medium copper amber with a thin head and no lace, The taste is caramel malt with a generous infusion of carbonation, adding hops late in the palate until fading all flavors in an oily finish. This is disappointingly heavy and bloating for such a low abv; I can drink it, but I don’t think I would choose it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap. Pours a dark copper color with an off-white head. Aroma is toasted biscuity malts, some caramel, and hints of hops. Taste is similar to the aroma. On the malty side, but it does have a nice spiciness in there as well, and some hops in the finish.
