Straw colour. Lots of raspberry syrup on the nose. Watery, with vile syrupiness. Bad even for a mailed-in raspberry brew.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Beershine (4754) - The Sunshine State, Florida, USA - JUN 20, 2008
Draught @ Freeport outlet. Billed as "Raspberry Light" and is a variation of the Sebago Light, not a wheat beer. Very clear. Raspberry soda children’s drink smell. All manner of fruitiness disappears in the flavors and ends with slight hop reminiscent of a generic light lager. Very thin, lacking any layers or complexity. Some grain flavors simple, but clean. Raspberry is almost an afterthought. Grandma beer.
2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Imaena (259) - Portland, Maine, USA - JUN 17, 2008
Draught: Watery, weak flavor, and unexciting. Really light and boring. Give this one a miss.

Very Light Rasberry arome and flavors, light gold in color and just a little bitter at finsh, alittle tart but not lemony, not too sweet at all, refreshing but overall weak.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 ruggedman (643) - Portland, Maine, USA - MAR 13, 2006
On tap at Auburn brewpub location. This is basically what appears to be their light beer with some raspberry flavors thrown in. It was a nice tangy raspberry which made it a little different than the other raspberry wheats i’ve had, although I’m still not a big fan of wheat beers, nor am i a fan of fruit beers. I’ve gotta say you should skip this one.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 asheft (2072) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JAN 5, 2006
[on tap at brewery]
Clear straw witha lasting flanel blanket that formed nice lacing. The aroma was of sweet raspberries and gentle malt. Watery, straw-like raspberry flavour with some unexpected hops bitterness. Light body, medium carbonation. Panty remover.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 jerc (5591) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 7, 2005
Pale yellow, small white head. Very tart raspberry up front in the aroma and flavour. Tartness lingers with the flavour of the raspberry doing likewise. Average to thin palate. Not a lot going on but mostly inoffensive.
2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 ClarkVV (3578) - Allston, Massachusetts, USA - NOV 5, 2005
A weak yellow with an off-white, pink tinged head that is small and quickly fleeting. No lacing, rather filtered looking. Aroma smells of light hay, wheat dryness and light raspberry syrup, though not very sweet at all. Flavor begins with a rather insipid raspberry flavor, followed by too much wheat dryness and a sourish, strange, muddled yeast character. Lightly acidic, yet it has very little malt and in a general sense, very little of anything. Gets watery and tiresome very quickly. Body is light, mouthfeel is overcarbonated but watery on end. It’s examples like this that give the style a bad name.
