3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Braudog (5062) - Hampton, Virginia, USA - NOV 14, 2007Bottle: Orange-yellow brew with a big cauldron on top. Highly carbonated. Aroma is sweet-bready, lightly citrusy. The drink is even more bready, even vaguely yeasty, with a big cookie dough aspect and a tight finish at the end. I really like beers like this, although clearly they are not popular amongst the Ratebeer masses ... anything vaguely yellowy is at a disadvantage here. (#3203, 11/14/2007)

A favorite summer beer. Light gold in color, slight hop smell and taste, crisp. If your looking for strong hop, big flavor, keep lookin. If you want a good summer afternoon session brew, here you go.

Uploading old ratings that were missing comments. Kind of a mess. Bottle might have been off. Their beers are enjoyable at the pub but I haven't had good luck with their bottles.

Typical blonde ale. Not good, not bad, just average. I like trying a variety of beers, so I’m glad I had it, but never need to again.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 cfrancis (1808) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - AUG 1, 2012
Light straw gold with a moderate fizzy white top. Aroma is light straw grains and a slight citrus hop. Taste is light and nicely carbonated for the mouth feel. Not a great beer, but a hot day sitting on the front porch of the cottage we rented in Maine, it goes down nice.
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 r464 (1476) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 24, 2011
Light and crisp with a hint of hops in the finish. Light and mild. A little thin overall, but better than a macro brew.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 ROGUE (1581) - Newark, Delaware, USA - SEP 2, 2011
12oz bottle. pours a clear orangish amber color with a big off white head. Aroma is light sweet butterscotch with a slight spicey hop background. The butterscotch sweetness flavor comes first but is followed quickly by a hit of hops bitterness, along with a hint of citrus in the background and a dry light finish. Light, refreshing body with moderate to strong carbonation.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 phaleslu (4528) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - AUG 23, 2011
Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours a clear bright gold color with no head. Aroma of pale and sweet malts, straw, faint fruit and floral hops. Flavor was pretty much the same. Light-bodied, with moderate-low carbonation and a sweet, malty mouthfeel. Very basic beer. Something called ’Vacationland’ should be more exciting.
