Spent the weekend in the mountains with my sister and bother-in-law visiting from Halifax, and this is a must-do for luch. New summer seasonal on tap. Bright golden straw colour, clear, dense white head with generous lace down the entire glass. Light grassy/flowery aroma. Pale malt palate with a nice mild floral hop accent and a mild bitter finish. Not a classic rep of the style (lower-key than most), but really quite nice as a summer sessional. In my mind it comes across more like a bohemian pilsener than anything, I think.

Draft at the brewpub; very light amber and relatively still. Aroma is inviting, lightly malty with a tender hop topper. Flavors: flowery, perfumey, lightly carameled. Nice sessionable brew and a nice pint for my birthday. (#2898, 5/16/2007)
