On tap. Pours a very light clear amber with a thin white head. Aroma of grass. Taste is moderately bitter with notes of citrus - grapefruit especially. Finishes with a grassycitrus bitterness. A pretty good IPA but could have more...

Pours a lightly hazy orangish amber with a nice fluffy white head. A nice pleasant Aroma of tropical fruits, guava, mango, passionfruit and light citrus notes balances well with some sweet pale malts. Taste is tropical fruits, sweet pale malts, light toast, mango, passionfruit and light citrus with a smooth bitterness up front that turns harsh and astringent in the finish. Great makings to an ipa just need a better balance of bittering hops.

On tap at Grizzly Paw Brewing, pours a clear golden orange with a small white head. Aroma brings out biscuity malt and metallic hops. Flavour is quite bad, with notes of metallic astringent hops and biscuity malt. It’s balanced, but the flavours imparted are simply not pleasant. Not good.

Draft - Earthy hops, with some citrus. Clear gold with a thin head. Resinous with some candy sweetness and a bitter finish. A bit muted in flavour. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours copper/gold colour. Small white head. Aroma was on the malty side, very little hop. Flavour has some nice crystally malts with some light citrus hop flavours. Some grapefruit in the finish. Needed a bit more hopping in my opinion.

On draft at the brewpub. Gold in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of faint pine sap and grapefruit, along with some pale malt. The hops come through a bit more in the mouth with hints of black pepper joining the pine and citrus notes. Not overly malty (or caramel-like) and firmly bitter. A solid effort, but could definitely use more aroma hops.

Pint on tap at the Grizz Paw poured a pale golden color with small white head and some spots of lace. Aromas of citrus and grass. Taste is a little sweet malt and citrus and a mild hoppy finish. Much more like an English bitter than an IPA, but still quite enjoyable.

Enjoyed this more than most of the other ones on tap at the Grizzly Paw. Strong hoppy taste starts with the aroma and carries all the way through.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2010 On tap. Clear yellow with orangey tinge. Almost no head. Light carbonation but decent mouthfeel. Maltiness is about right for style. A little fruity. Hops are there but a little weak for style.
