Draught at the brewpub
Blond color. Very light breadish character, dry. Very close to the Honey Wheat, which is not a good thing.

On draft at the brewpub. Pale yellow in colour with medium carbonation. Aromas are of faint grainy pilsner malt and whte bread dough. Full pilsner malt flavour, with light grasy hops and a mild mineral finish. Light bodied and clean finishing. A bit bland and watery, but clearly intended to be an easy drinking patio beer brewed for people who would normally drink macros. Not really my thing, but no real flaws either.

Single bottle purchase from Zyn Liqour in Calgary, AB on 02/22/2012. Colour: Bright yellow with zero head. Nose: Distinct honeyed wheat. Very light berry trace. Cheddar cheese with a sweet chilli glaze. Taste: Light sweet, light bitter, medium-light sour. Mild vanilla and grippy grass but overall quite dull.

Not a bad pils. The pour is a pale golden straw with a foamy off white head. The nose is grainy with a ligh hop and not much else. The taste is quite bland with a grainy malt and light breadiness. Overall, an okay session beer.

341mL bottle poured pale straw color with little white head and almost no lacing. Aromas of grass and cereal. Taste is lightly sweet with a light hoppy finish. Light body and moderate carbonation. There is really not much to this beer.

Light taste of hops and a little sourness in a bad way, fairly bland and forgettable otherwise. On tap at Grizzly on a taster

Bottle. Pours a medium yellow with a disappearing white head. Very mild aroma of grass. Tastes slightly of malt, very low body. A little bit of hops in there, but not enough for a pilsener. Finishes with a slight grassiness. More body and hops needed.

That is actually pretty impressive. It’s crisp, sharp and just right on the malt/hops balance. It leaves a nice yeast flavour in your mouth. Quite clean of the mouth. The aroma is a fair bit on the plain side but is still nice enough. Pours with a nice head, quickly fades, pretty decent lacing, just a hint of red in the light. I would be damn impressed if I made a pilsner like this, it’s not too too far away from Urquell in the style similarities if I may be so bold, though now that I say so the yeast is really coming on strong in the nose and after taste. Still quite a decent pilsner from this side of the pond.

Looks nice, very clear and golden yellow with good head. Aroma is very yeasty and not very pleasant. Flavour is nice but a little dull. not much here. I think it is pretty weak. there is a nice hop bite in the finish. not bad .

Pours hazy yellow/gold, thin white head, very poor lacing. Nose is pale malt, movie-theater butter, slight earthy hop presence. Flavor is earthy, slightly bitter and spicy, but masked by loads more butter. A shabby diacetyl mess. Drain pour.

On-tap. Poured with a very small, off-white head. Some slight haziness to the dark yellow body. Not much to the aroma... slightly sweet. Medium-bodied on the palate, with a fairly creamy texture, and soft carbonation. Tasted pretty basic for a pilsener, with a slightly bitter finish to it. Overall it was decent, but nothing spectacular. It’ll do in a pinch if you’re in the mood for its style.
