This is nice! Very vanilla marshmallow caramel to it, lovely and sweet. Good session scotch ale. On tap at Craft beer market.

Aroma is caramel, toffee, slight roasted maltiness. Taste is lightly roasted malts with some light roastiness. The malt profile finishes fairly flat unfortunately. Light bland bitterness on finish. Appearance is amber/copper with a thin pearl head that retains poorly.

Bottle at Santa Lucia Trattoria, Canmore. Deep ruby pour with a tiny tan head that is quickly gone. Nose is toffee and bready malts. Nice sweet start with caramel and some red fruit with some mild bitterness. Quite light and watery mouth with quite soft carbonation.

Decent copper colour to it. Thin white head, malty caramel aroma to it. Slightly more bitter than other red ales I have tried. Very average, but nice to see a local Alberta brewery make something drinkable.

mcberko (7074) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - MAY 17, 2014
On tap at Grizzly Paw Brewing, pours a clear reddish amber with a small beige head. Aroma is very subtle, with notes of muted caramel bready malt. Flavour brings out lots of mineraly notes, with some medicinal, chemical notes. Very bad stuff - basically undrinkable.

Tastes a little bitter, nowhere near as good as other red ales namely Pumphouse. Not bad, a little overly carbonated and faint on scent.
