Jun 16, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. The body was dark gold with a white head. The aroma was malty with some potatoes. The flavors were bread and potatoes with some pecans. There was also some strangeness in the nasty finish.

Sep 17, 2006 Draught sample at the brewpub, early August 2006. I am SOOO excited that brewpubs are now getting in the act of producing clones of past masterpieces like Schlitz and Natty Boh, let me tell you. Anyway....pale gold with a smallish ring of head, no lacing....faintly grassy, corn-sugarish aroma, reasonably fresh but dull....odd cidery character on the tongue with a trace of ashes, a bit of DMS shows up in the nose as it warms to almost room temp....seems a bit off, overall.
