UPDATED: JAN 16, 2010 (Bottled, 0.75l, 2009 version) Hazy greenish golden with a smallish, fluffy and firm, lacy and very lasting head. Acidic nose with pale malt, and a lime-lemony twist. Flavor is also dry and acidic, with some pear-lime-fruitiness, cerealy maltiness, and moderately biting, grassy hops. Not much yeast in the bottle, but it manages to smooth out the corners a bit. Medium body, soft carbonation, light alcohol burn. Too dry, papery and acidic for my taste - I like my tripels fruity, complex, and slightly sweet. (Bottled, 0.75l, 2006 version, rated 12.7.2008, was 7-4-7-4-14=3.6) Opaque orange-golden with a small head. Slightly sweet and acidic aroma of orange-fruity malt and coriander. Quite acidic flavor with orangey fruitiness and some grassy hops. Alcohol is present, but not dominating. A very decent, dry tripel, but somewhat too acidic for me.

An average trippel. Apparently a one time brew, so it’ll run out eventually. Difficult to recommend.

2009 corked bottle. Orange blonde color. Medium to full bodied. Floral yeasty, slightly herbal flavor with hints of white pepper, pineapple and tangerine. Some warming alcohol. The aroma is lacking a bit, but the flavor is OK.

Bottle. The aroma is very fruity, some vanilla, light malty, nice one. The head is small, white and fizzy with a short duration. The body is cloudy and orange. The taste is fruity, light bitter and with a weak metallic aftertaste. The body is medium strong with a normal carbonation and light creamy.

2009 version brewed @...? Head reduced in secs to white rim; hazy pale-orange beer. Very alcoholic nose, spicy-yeasty aromas, raw bark. Very earthy, quite-bitterish flavour, ending slightly sweeter. Aromatic hops definitely present. Again bark, root spices. Prickly palate, not fizzy. Medium bodied; alcoholwarming. Very nice tripel indeed. Thanks, Stef!

75cl, brew Anno 2008, from Willems Grobbendonk, complex brew, balanced, hazy, good head, good brew

Blond beer with a very coarse head. Very malty beer with notes of caramel sweetness that disappears and is replaced by some soft bitterness in the aftertaste..

Flaske. Årgang 2006. Drukket umiddelbart efter Fin du Monde. Ikke helt deroppe af. Mere uklar og lidt rødligere. Meget mere frugt i duften og smagen. Faktisk overraskende frugtet men på en yderst behagelig måde. Igen en super øl.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Hazy deep golden, brief lively head. Yeasty nose with some orange and vanilla. Sweet and medium-full bodied with arousing canteloupe-like estery alcohol, creamy sweet maltiness and spun sugar. There are notes of mustard seeds and the malt turns grainy and chewy. Finishes somewhat sticky with with head held high in elegance.

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Stuff floating around. Aroma is acidic fruits, coriander, some spices and yeast along with caramel malts. Flavour is wheat, yeast, caramel malts, some grass as well as yeast and spices. A rather acidic/sour tripel.
