Dark brown colour with a quickly diminishing white head. Aroma is toasty with notes of toffee and caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet, notes of caramel and toffee are present, bready, hints of chocolate plumbcake. Rounded mouthfeel.

Nice nut brown color with short beige head. Aroma is light roast grains, taste is a bit stronger, burnt toast and mild bitterness. Palate is spot on, lingering bitterness and medium-heavy mouthfeel. Nicely done bock.

#747 Dunkelbrauner Bock mit deutlich sichtbaren Schwebeteilchen. Der feinporige Schaum ist schnell auf der Flucht. Süßmalziges Aroma. Im Antrunk erstaunlich frisch und gar nicht so schwer. Im Geschmack malzlastig ausgerichtet, aber zum Glück nicht so sperrig. Ein Bock dem es am Feinschliff fehlt, der aber süffig und gefällig ist. Was das Etikett betrifft sowie den unbedruckten Kronkorken, so kann man leider nur die Note "Schlecht" vergeben, denn dadurch entsteht ein übler Billigeindruck, den das Bier gar nicht verdient hat! Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Deep ambery brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is toffee, roasted malts, some mild rye bread and mild mashlike sweet notes. Flavour is sweet malts, mild bready and earthy notes aliong with some toasted malts. Still not overly sweet. Rather bodied.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours dak amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Lots of prune, dark fruit and caramel. A bit of bread. Medium bodied.

Clear amber, small head. Buttery malt and tin. Mid dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Low bitterness. Solid, but uneventful.

Pours clear brown color with small head. Aroma of roasted malts, chcolate and mild fruits. Flavor of tangy chocolate and roasted, sugary malts. A bit too bitter and tangy palate.

Deep ruby color, small off-white head. Toasted malty, caramelly, slightly berryish aroma.Medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramel-raisiny bock. Low bitterness, soft palate. Decent.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Dark brown color. Caramelaroma. Medium bodied. Malty roasty sweet caramelly flavor. Hint of metal in the aftertaste. Well crafted bock.

Aroma has hints of metal. Flavour has roasted, almost burnt chocolate and some coffee. Some harsh bitterness, probably because of too much roastiness.
