Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Deep ambery brown colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is toffee, roasted malts, some mild rye bread and mild mashlike sweet notes. Flavour is sweet malts, mild bready and earthy notes aliong with some toasted malts. Still not overly sweet. Rather bodied.

Bottle @ Bierzwerg.de. Pours dak amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Lots of prune, dark fruit and caramel. A bit of bread. Medium bodied.

Clear amber, small head. Buttery malt and tin. Mid dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel and medium body. Low bitterness. Solid, but uneventful.

Pours clear brown color with small head. Aroma of roasted malts, chcolate and mild fruits. Flavor of tangy chocolate and roasted, sugary malts. A bit too bitter and tangy palate.

Deep ruby color, small off-white head. Toasted malty, caramelly, slightly berryish aroma.Medium-bodied. Sweetish, caramel-raisiny bock. Low bitterness, soft palate. Decent.

Bottle from Bierzwerg. Dark brown color. Caramelaroma. Medium bodied. Malty roasty sweet caramelly flavor. Hint of metal in the aftertaste. Well crafted bock.

Aroma has hints of metal. Flavour has roasted, almost burnt chocolate and some coffee. Some harsh bitterness, probably because of too much roastiness.

Malziger, schnell dumpf herber werdender Antrunk. Die Herbe reißt hierbei die Macht schnell an sich und wirkt trocken im Mittelteil sowie im Abgang als Hauptton, das Malz fällt hierbei weitestgehend unter den Tisch. Im Abgang kommt es wieder leicht und mit süßer Verstärkung hervor, scheitert aber an der weiterhin dumpfen und trockenen Herbe. Wenig würzig, sogar disharmonisch wirkt das Bier. Minimal bitter und sauer, keine Spur hopfig. 9/8/9/8/7/7

(bottle) pours a clear ruby-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of dark fruit, shredded almonds, brown sugar and yeast, with a hint of toffee and burnt malts, nicely balanced. flavour is mostly the same, very fruity, with notes of earth and a medium sweetness. medium to strong-bodied with average carbonation.

Clear amber with a tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel and rye bread. Sweet flavour with roasted malt, caramel, rye bread and grassy hops. Finished somewhat dry.
