Thanks to Erzengel for that bottle. Looks very simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild, fine malty, more and more spicy, light sweetish notes. Fruity hints of apricot. Finish more dry, but still okay. Not bad!

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein goldgelbes Bier mit durchschnittlicher Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig, getreidig, leicht herb. Geschmack malzig würzig, getreidig, minimale Bitterkeit.

Bottle 50cl from Kevnic2008. A clear yellow beer with low head, nose is on peppery and vegetable kind of hops. Aroma has light caramel notes, crisp profile, burnt honey touch, relative bitterness, grass and hay, less interesting that other product of the brewery.

bottle from kevnic2008 - danke! Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty, pleasantly hoppy and with its own character. Good.

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki (backlog). Yellowish golden colour with a mediumsized foamy head that leaves some lace. Aroma is bready malts, some earth, grass and mild salty notes. Flavour is bready, salty, earthy, grassy and has some slight caramelly and hayish notes as well.

Bottle brought from Darmstadt by my wife. Pours light golden with a nice thin head. The aroma is initally malty but is more metallic later on. Taste is malty and grainy, but there is also more bitterness than one would expect from a Helles. Medium-full mouthfeel, lingering bitterness. Drinkable and passable but nothing special.

Draught, Talbot Taphouse, Ripley, Derbyshire, England. When life gives you lemons, make lemonade. When it gives you hens-teeth-rare-for-the-UK German beer, rate it. Too flat but plenty of breakfast flavours, all semi-sweet and gentle malt and bacon. Apart from the last bit. An agreeable hell. Like Meadowhall at ten o’clock on a weekday morning.

(bottle) pours a clear golden colour with a frothy white head. aroma of caramel and pale malts, rather sweet, with hints of marzipan and a light floral-hoppy backdrop. flavour is mostly the same, quite clean, with a medium sweetness and a light bitter finish. medium-bodied with average carbonation.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and tall foamy head. Moderately sweet and slightly buttery (cara-)malty aroma with bready notes and a tinge of herbal hops. Sweet and shy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Slightly bready malty taste with subtle fruity notes and discreet herbal accents towards the finish. Likeable. 08.IV.11
Earlier Rating: 8/15/2006 Total Score: 2.9
(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a short but stable foamy white head. Light sweet strawy and Pilsener-malty nose with a tinge of citrus and a shy hoppy background. Moderately sweet flavour with a malty base and a subtle fruity taste; dry malty, rather unbalanced bitter finish with light notes of herbal hops. Still pretty drinkable.
