on tap - amber brownish beer with a white head. Aroma has some maltiness. Flavour is sweet and malty with a faint caramel finish.

Pours golden color with medium head. Aroma of cellar notes, grass, malts and some fruits. Flavor of fruits, malts and grass.

Thick frothy head. Sweet cinnamon aroma, a little bit of hay. Amber color. Mild carbonation. Rather dry as advertised. Very smooth and drinkable.

Dark brown Märzen. The smell is caramel-sweet, nutty and malty. Starts malty bitter, nutty tart, very different than expected. The beer is much more bitter than expected, the hops come through relatively well. The aftertaste is again malty bitter, the nutty flavor comes through well, and this makes the beer very smooth to drink. To the finish, the beer is dominant bitter and malty!

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy dark golden color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty bready aroma. Fruity malty grainy bready flavor with some hints of caramel. Has a fruity malty grainy bready finish.

Shared this one w/ SkyCop32. Picked up at Maruhn Getränke in Darmstadt. Pours a nice medium amber color. Aromas of wheat bread, caramel malts, and a touch of hops. Flavors of caramel, toffee, and a nice smooth finish.

[bottle--thanks, cgreb!] Malty aroma that seems like the beer is a bit under-attenuated. Granny smith apples are strong in the nose. Clear brown with an immediately descending white fuzz. Bitter walnuts and toffee in front of underattenuated, grainy malt that is just a touch astringent. Light body, medium carbonation, sweet brown malty finish.

Clear medium to dark amber (cola) color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, toffee, brown sugar, light nutty. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090930]

0,5 l bottle. Dark amber body with a small tan head.Moderated aroma of malts and caramel, little embarassed me... Watery body with a hint of caramel and malt. Not the best beer of this nice brewery.

Bottle. Old vegetable malt aroma. Reddish brown color with small head. Watery caramel malt and bitter hops flavor. Pretty mediocre beer.
