Thanks to Erzengel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty-yeasty, not too dry. Fruity notes of apricot. Well balanced finish and quite drinkable. Nice!

Trübes orangegelbes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig, fruchtig nach Banane, leicht würzig.

50cl draught at the Brauerei. Real muddy orange-yellow colour with a nice and thick white head. The aroma is fruity (banana notes) malt and a bit spicy. Medium carbonation and creamy full body. Flavour is not as bitter as I would like but overall is a very good german wheat beer.

Bottle from kevnic2008, a cloudy copper orange beer with good head. Nose is very fruity on banana, light spices, lot ow wheat malt. Aroma is very malty, sweet, very fruity on banana and pine apple. Good bitterness at the finish with malty and wheat touch, on of the most interesting heife hell I had. Again a nice beer from this brewery.

bottle from kevnic2008 - danke! Cloudy orange colour, large off-white head. Wheaty and malty with lots of yeast, pleasantly fruity and smooth with hints of banana and tropical fruit. Very nice.

The head is not that stable, the body light brown and cloudy. In the first taste it is intensive fruity, fresh yeasty. then later less flavours. Overall ok. 9/10/11/10/10/10

Cloudy bright pale yellow, big white and creamy head. Full-bodied, rather malty and with very intensive hints of banana. Fruity, chewy - a solid example of the style.

Draught at the brauhaus
Muddy orange-blond color. It has a nice aroma, both spiced and fruity. Dry mouthfeel, but with reasonable body strength; there is a light but good malt flavor, wheat, then light spices and very light banana. The final is a bit weak, also because the bitterness is quite low. A Weizen by the book, not exciting but very well brewed.

500 ml bottle from Maruhn had at home in Germany. Pours a really nice darker, cloudy, amber gold color with a foamy massive beige head. A really nice looking Weisse. You can hear the foam popping for a long time as well. Aroma is bananas, cloves and spices. Well done. Taste is fruity bananas, and spice. Palate is also heavey in the bananas. A very soft and creamy Hefe. Another top Weisse one of the best!!

Koelschtrinker (9998) - Köln (Cologne), GERMANY - MAY 23, 2011
12/11/12/11/12/12
