Ungstrup (23984) - Oamaru, - SEP 13, 2009
Bottled. An unclear golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of malt, wheat, and banana. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat and banana, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Cloudy bright pale yellow, big white and creamy head. Full-bodied, rather malty and with very intensive hints of banana. Fruity, chewy - a solid example of the style.

fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - JUN 7, 2011
Draught at the brauhaus
Muddy orange-blond color. It has a nice aroma, both spiced and fruity. Dry mouthfeel, but with reasonable body strength; there is a light but good malt flavor, wheat, then light spices and very light banana. The final is a bit weak, also because the bitterness is quite low. A Weizen by the book, not exciting but very well brewed.

Bierkrug (1666) - Idar-Oberstein (In East Africa), Rhineland-Palatinate, GERMANY - MAY 26, 2011
500 ml bottle from Maruhn had at home in Germany. Pours a really nice darker, cloudy, amber gold color with a foamy massive beige head. A really nice looking Weisse. You can hear the foam popping for a long time as well. Aroma is bananas, cloves and spices. Well done. Taste is fruity bananas, and spice. Palate is also heavey in the bananas. A very soft and creamy Hefe. Another top Weisse one of the best!!

Koelschtrinker (7060) - Köln (Cologne), North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAY 23, 2011
12/11/12/11/12/12

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. Poured hazy dark orange color with a nice flothy white head. Aroma is wheat and banana. Flavor is sweet fruity and wheat. Too sweet to be refreshing. Low carbonation.

(bottle) pours a murky golden-orange colour with a creamy off-white head. aroma of wheat, clove and summer fruits, with a light hint of oats and a medium spiciness. flavour is mostly the same, very fruity and spicy, with notes of mango and grass, a medium sweetness and a surprising ginger-like bitterness in the finish. medium-bodied with refreshingly lively carbonation.

Bottled (from bierzwerg.de). Reddish amber/orange colour with small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some herbs and wheat. Flavour is quite similar. Also some yeast, making it more complex (and also for building up severe gas inside of you... *FAAAART*, oops, sorry, but blame the beer. )

MoritzF (7402) - Bochum, GERMANY - FEB 28, 2010
(bottle) Cloudy, murky golden to light-amber colour with a big and dense off-white foamy head. Yeasty and sweet wheat- and slightly cara-malty aroma with notes of banana, bubblegum and citrus, accompanied by a moderately clovy and dusty touch. Slightly sweet and bitter-tart flavour, light to medium bodied with a sparkly mouthfeel. Yeasty, wheat-malty taste with a tinge of caramel and a rather restrained fruit-character; quite bitter and slightly tart finish with present phenolic spices. Pretty average Weizen. 10.II.10
