12 oz bottle. Poured a clear amber color with a thin off white head. The aroma was mainly caramel, but a hint of hops was present. The flavor was toasty, with an earthy hop finish.

This beer poured with a generous head and a deep amber color. The aroma is light caramel maltiness balanced by a touch of hops. Medium bodied with good drinkability, the taste is pretty similar to the smell. Very nicely balanced, this is a decent beer.

ROGUE (2086) - Newark, Delaware, USA - DEC 29, 2008
12oz bottle. Poured a ruby to amber color with a half inch head that dissipated quickly, but left heavy lacing. Smelled of sweet malt, medium hoppines for the style, with a fruity touch. Tasted of toasted grains, spicy top hops, and a bit of mellow fruit. Just a touch heavy on the carbonation. A bit of bite on the back of the tongue, not bad but a wee bit much for the mellow flavor. A fine session beer.

Bottle. Poured amber with a creamy off-white head that left light lace. Initial aroma of sulfur like lit matches. This fades to grain and burnt malts. The flavor is mainly caramel malts. Light body.

Bottle. Amber body with 2 finger head. Lightly malty with some hop bitterness. Plain and simple a miss in my eyes.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Fluffy off-white pancake batter head leaves spotty sheets. Stale caramel aromas. Crisp with deep sweet caramel upfront and a dry malty finish.

Nice deep amber color and whitish head. Inoffensive taste; probably a little better than reviews would lead you to believe.

Amber color, aroma like caramel, friuts and grains, a little bit watery, but refreshing, not bad.

Nutmeg caramel nose, some slight hop spice.Crystal clear amber color with a frothy head. light malty sweetness, considerable bitterness. Well carbonated, thinner body, slightly astringent mouth feel, nice balanced finish. A very easy drinking beer with better than average bitterness for an Amber Ale.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2008 There is something about this beer which had a bad effect on me. It is very chemicalised or something I expect. Leaves an unpleasant feelings. Those adverts with the haunted thing seem relevant.
