Very good amber, not to week and not to overpowering. Smooth and to me much more drinkable than the regular Grolsche line.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Fluffy off-white pancake batter head leaves spotty sheets. Stale caramel aromas. Crisp with deep sweet caramel upfront and a dry malty finish.

Nice deep amber color and whitish head. Inoffensive taste; probably a little better than reviews would lead you to believe.

Amber color, aroma like caramel, friuts and grains, a little bit watery, but refreshing, not bad.

Nutmeg caramel nose, some slight hop spice.Crystal clear amber color with a frothy head. light malty sweetness, considerable bitterness. Well carbonated, thinner body, slightly astringent mouth feel, nice balanced finish. A very easy drinking beer with better than average bitterness for an Amber Ale.

There is something about this beer which had a bad effect on me. It is very chemicalised or something I expect. Leaves an unpleasant feelings. Those adverts with the haunted thing seem relevant.
