3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
With Amstel the best bock beer from the big dutch brands. This one is sweeter than average, but drinks very well. Nice taste of caramel, raisins, cereal and coffee.

300 ml bottle
Appearance: Cclear dark brown, big, bubbly off-white head, with not that great retention.
Aroma: very sweet craramel and spices.
Taste: ver sweet caramel (allmost soft drink like) with some prunes and a bit of nutmeg in the finish.
Thin watery body, over carbonated.for it’s body, carbonation is medium.
This was quit bad, much too sweet.

It’s like coke. Come on this ain’t no beer, far too sweet. The brewerys do not seem to know what a real bock beer is like.

2.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle. Cola color. Aromas are spices, cayenne powder, peppers, peanuts, overall sensation of a freshly mown lawn in a morning dew. Specific, but nice. Typical Grolsch. Taste disappoints. Manufactured and too sweet. Brown sugar, caramel, bitter undertone. Next.

4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I actually have to say that this beer is better than the sprinf version from Grolsch. Smells like cinnamon and tastes like it too. Kinda sweet for a beer, but awesome.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
300ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear dark brown, big, bubbly off-white head. Aromas are metallic, stone fruit. Taste is toffee sweet, but with a clean enough finish to avoid being sticky. Not bad.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Autumn version in Grolsch’ four seasons series and a typical Dutch bock, but bottom-fermented. Moussy, off-white, quite stable head, colour a bright, deep bronze. Malty aroma, bit simple, some aromatic hops, orange, chocolate, cherries, caramel. Malt sweet taste, very caramelly, a tad chocolatey in the middle, lightly roasted bitter sweet, subtle flowery hops in the finish. Relatively dry main taste for this style.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark hazelnut brown colour with a thick off white head. Caramel malty, fruity and nutty aroma. Medium + body. Well balanced sweet flavour with notes of caramel, nuts and a bit fruity. A lovely dutch bock in my bock.
