3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Albert Heijn; 0.77 Ä for a single is my kind of price for macro stuff. Pours a light very clear orangey red with thin rapidly dissapating foam. Aroma of burnt caramel, lots of caramel, maybe a hint of corn syrup. Taste is sweet, lots of caramel with light toasted malt character. Palate is sweet, a bit watery and over carbed. Not stellar, but mighty fine especially @ the same price as the pale fizzy stuff.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Watery, way to sweet, simply boring bok. If you prefer quantity over quality and want to drink multiple bottles at one evening it is okay. Nothing more than that.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Poured from 500ml can. Clear, brown color with off white head. Aroma: eurobeer. Cloying sweetness which is not just malty. Artificial sweetnes lasts in aftertaste. Full body, sticky texture.
I could not drink whole can.

Beige weak head. Dark mahogany colour. Aroma is malty with light caramel and fruity (plums, prunes) notes, slightly watery. Flavor is malty too with fruity (dates and prunes) tones, ending in a weak moderately fruity finish. Medium bodied.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
10 year old bottle shared by deanso. Deep dark malty caramel brown with a thin tan, lacy, that fades to a ring head. Deep smell of malt, caramel, figs, raisins and nutty toasted malt. Medium thin body. Tastes of caramel, deep malt, and syrup. Leaves the mouth filled with caramel and sugar. Iím sure itís not as nice young.

0.9 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
500ml bottle, supermarket. Pours transparent ruby red with light beige foam, not the worst looking industrial bock around, but smell is of cheap strong eurolager, honey and metallic, a promise fulfilled by the awful taste with only a hint of dark roasted notes to try a bit of balance. I am always curious with the "varied" style beers of macro breweries, and Iím used to this kind of disappointment, but I found this bock attempt truly offensive. Avoid.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear deep red copper, foamy tan head, lasts quite some time, thin layer remains, good lacing; sweet roasty malt nose, brown sugar, caramel, dough; smooth medium sweet taste, plum/raisins and syrup undertones; medium body (for a bock perhaps to light?), creamy texture; well balanced sweetbitter finish, slightly cough syrup sensation and spicy undertones (cloves, nutmeg).

Iíve bought a sixpack at the local supermarket an was luckily not so diassapointed as with the Lentebock. Itís an ok Bock, but it doesnít come close to the German ones.
