Grolsch Het Kanon

0.33 L bottle. Thick offwhite head. Body is brilliant, deep gold. Sugary malts, alcohol and fruit cocktail on the nose. Some mineralic notes. Taste is heavily sweet and quite boozy. Notes of caramel, marzipan and pepper. A harsh bitterness in the backbone. Sticky in the mouth. Alcohol all the way through. A rather nasty one, drained most of it.

Thx to Vacas. From bottle, 30 cl. Clear golden color, with white head. Aroma sweet, malts. Medium body. Taste malts, sweet, alcoholic, bit spice.

Bottle 33 cl. Look at Real Madrid win against the Norwegian team Rosenborg and test some beers 3-0 1st half. Apperance; golden, clear with a minimal white head. Aroma; Malt and alcohol. Flavor; Again, lots of alc and some caramel, too much alc and little beer. More like a small drink.

Pours amberish with a small head.Smells like nail polish remover and other alcohols with a hint of spices in the background. There is a cloying almond and alcohol flavor .Thin bodied.Really bad

Bottle from a supermarket in Amsterdam. Pours clear amber, small head, no retention. Aroma is alcohol with some sweetness. Smell a bit infected. Taste is alcohol and other weird stuff. Life is to short to drink bad beer, drain pour.

Pours light amber with a small head, that quickly dissipates. Sweet aroma. Alcohol burn is nicely hidden; sweet malty aftertaste. Shockingly good for what I expected.

Golden colour with very short but almost lasting head. Sweet malty, grainy alcoholic aroma. Fairly sweet taste but not overly so, some adjuncts in there, grainy and a bit astringent.

Fruity smell, melon. Taste is quite sweet, maybe a little too much. Def doesn’t taste like a 11,6 percent beer, more like a spring bock.
