2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: DEC 3, 2005 A powerful beer, which really forces you to drink it slowly. The 11,6% alcohol is overwhelming and causes a deep alcohol-burn. Might be ok to finish an evening of beer drinking, but don’t let it be the first.

horrifically repulsive. barely perceptible plums and passiona attempt to flail their way out of a sea of nail polish remover before being crushed by a tsunami of turps. call me a girl, but i’d prefer the pink grapefruit 2.5 any day.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JUL 3, 2003 The name ('The big Gun') says it all, it's a heavy one. When you take a lighter you can (after)burn your aftertaste. Strange enough it tastes kinda sweet. Rerate: I must have been in an optimistic mood to rate this one 2.8. It's not a good brew.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
This beer is like drinking a lager with a shot of jenever in it. The aroma is of malt and sweetness but with a plain pilsener aroma (sulver) to it. The taste is like a weakly hopped pilsener. The aftertaste makes it clear that there is a lot of alcohol in it. This should have been a top fermenting beer, than it would have had taste to match the alcohol volume.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden yellow clear colour with no real head to speak of. Floral hops with a hint of sour cherries but not much alcohol in the aroma. Medium to soft body and mild palate. Sweet malty flavour with stronger hints of alcohol coming through especially in the nasal passages. Mild bitter-sweet aftertaste. A bit more bite in the palate would make this a very interesting beer.

Malty and sweet. Lots of alcohol, burns in the stomach.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Like the name suggests, this one will really knock you out cold if you drink a few. Drink it slowly and not too cold.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: FEB 13, 2008 Light caramel and raisin aroma. Strong alcohol aroma however. Orange/amber colour, moderate large white frothy head, diminishes fast, good lacing. Very sweet, alcohol bitterness but not annoying, full, warm, malty. In the finish are some citrus/orange flavours and a alcohol burn.

4.2 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
A nice and very heavy beer. Alcohol taste is dominant
