2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 William (202) - Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - JAN 4, 2009
This beer is too strong to be a beer. Alcohol is not well hidden, it is way too present.

Bottle. Golden and viscous with a small head. Aromas are grain and caramel malts with pineapple. Some Lemsip with warming alcohol. Flavours are thick and syrupy malts with sweet citrus. The finish is quite short but comes with plenty of alcohol. Still, decent for the style.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 kiwibt (55) - , NEW ZEALAND - DEC 6, 2008
Pours yellow orange with minimum head retention.
Aroma is alcohol.
Flavour is sweetish with a strong alcohol backgorund.
Overall the alcohol was over powering and out of balance, almost as if straight ethanol had been added. Needed a more complex malt background with less alcohol.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 yespr (20653) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - DEC 5, 2008
30 cL bottle. Pours deep golden orange, clear and with a semi fizzy white head. Dense malty, breadish, and alcohol aroma. Flavour is smooth malty with a solid body from the alchohol. Alcohol does show warmth, but not burning nor flavourwise too dominant. Gets somewhat cloying after half a bottle. Despite the nice aroma and flavour the alcohol gets too dominant in the end.

Can. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma sweet, malt, alcohol. Flavour is sweet, alcohol, fruit, malt. Too much alcohol in the beer.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 RichardGretton (3711) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 6, 2008
Bottle. Golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is mildly malty, and the flavour is very strongly malty and has a feel of a spirit like rum. Overall alright for a very, very strong beer.
2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20 yngwie (8717) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 5, 2008
Can, thx to jbrus. Clear, golden body with a diminishing white head. Fine lacings. Grainy, alcohol aroma with some sweetish notes and a little chemical touch. Syrupy sweet, alcohol flavor, really warming with very evident alcohol. Fruity too. Warming alcohol finish, quite fruity and with pale malt. I admit it, I’m not a big fan of malt liquors, but I sure know I prefer them with less alcohol. Except for the alcohol, it’s not unpleasant, but a good beer it isn’t. (080905)
