330ml bottle. Clear, golden body with a big but diminishing off-white head. Aroma is fruity and rather similar to a pilsner. Flavor is sweet, ripe fruity, some bitterness and a hint of alcohol. Medium body and a bit harsh finish. Not my type of beer, there is a lot better Dutch bock around.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20 Borresteijn (3647) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - JUL 15, 2008
Bottle @ home. Looks dark golden, smells like malt liquor, tastes like malt liquor. Just a stronger and sweeter version of the lager, and that’s not good.
2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 chilangoglobal (105) - Mexico City, MEXICO - JUN 15, 2008
sweet caramel aroma, low foam and bit oily, The taste is a soft combination of sugar and alcohol, altough is too much sweet to me. The end is pleaseant.
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 bhensonb (8985) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 3, 2008
33 cl bottle. Copper tinged gold color with a decent white head. Light aromas of pale malt and grassy/herbal hop. Starts with a bit of fruit, some light caramel malt, and a touch of citrus. Near medium body with rather coarse carbonation. It’s smooth. It finishes more sweet than not. Hops hardly present compared to the sweetness. After the sweetness has a chance to drain away, grassy hop is detectable, but there’s not much of it.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 thewolf (9859) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUN 2, 2008
Bottle. [thank you, Skortila/Caesar]
Pours clear golden with a big, frothy white head. Aroma is sweet and malty with a light citric edge. A bit thin. Flavour is very sticky sweet, some viniousness and very light hops at the end. Far too sweet and unbalanced.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TrefwoordPunk (707) - Leiden, NETHERLANDS - MAY 12, 2008
Bottle 100 cl, 2000 vintage. Pours a dark brown with a small and fading white head and a sweet scent with a sour finnish. The initial taste is sour and the finnish is sour with a sweet note. This sample is fairly aged, but still really drinkable. I will rate a fresh one in the near future
