Bottle. Very small fizzy brown head, fast and fully disappearing. Dark black body. Light sour and malty smell, later on it gets sweeter. Average sweet taste, light body and short duration.

Dark colour, thin head, again a very weak oud bruin, i think only heineken knows the way to make a good one, almost no real aroma, only caramel and other sweeds.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bottle. Frothy lightbrown good mostly deminishing head. Dark red-amber wonderfull colour. Modsearte malty very light hoppy aroma. Light sweet flavor. Average finish. Oily but thin palate. Not as sweet as danish "Hvidtøl" but that makes it a very nice beer.

Bottle at Bekeerde Suster. When I asked for this the bartender asked if I was pregnant. It’s a low beer alchol and apparently good for pregnant ladies. (I’m a guy.) It’s very sugary and sweet. Not much too it. Didn’t finish it. Strong caramel flavour.

Poured and smelled like a malzbier, then tasted like a malzbier! there was a hint of alcohol, theres the only thing to remind me this isn´t a malzbier. not a bad flavor, but I´d have to be in the mood to drink this one again.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Had in Amsterdam- didnt realize at the time this was supposed to be a low acohol beer. Pours a clear brown with a decent head but fades fast. Lightly nutty and fruity aroma with a touch of sweetness. Flavor is light and watered down with a touch of caramel malt. Slightly earthy and woodsy, otherwise pretty bland but easy drinking. Sure as hell not going to get drunk off this one.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Coca-Cola colour and ditto foam; just a bit more stable. Subdued sweet nose, caramely, vaguely grassy. Quite sweet start, immediately diminishing to more neutral, quite woody taste, not acidic. Flavour of water-colour paint, and milk sugar finish. Bit of tartness, rather dry after the initial sweetness. Knowing Dutch Oud Bruin and Flemish Oud bruin are different is one thing, experiencing it quite another. As far as the Dutch go, this one ranks amongst the better. Among the least sweet, too.

When I ordered this in a bar it was only when I tasted it that my thoughts turned to the thinness and lack of taste in this beer. Aaaaaaaah, it is a light beer. Shame, because it looks so good initially. Anyway, not a bad example of a light alcohol beer and certainly not one you initially pick.

1.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear brown color, small head of large bubbles. Sweet and slightly malty aroma. Tastes like liquid sirupy caramel. Typical commercial Dutch oud bruin, which is more a granny-beer.

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Dark red-brown, no head. Weak aroma, very sweet and malty flavour. Tart finish. Weak, even for a Dutch oud bruin.
