500 ml can bought at 7-Eleven in Metropolis Plaza, Sheung Shui.

Clear light golden yellow colour; Explosive three finger head and crumpety white foam which lasted for 3 minutes; Excellent sticky lacing with slightly fizzy carbonation; Sweet aroma of malt, with molasses, faint floral, bread, yeast, light lemon and light grass; Close to light sweet taste of malt, with molasses notes, light bread, very light yeast, light lemon and faint bitter grassy hops; Close to light body, quite slick palate; Mouth feel is thinned but still with pretty full maltyness, no syrupy feel, pretty much sugar-less in palate with bits of molasses. Light bready, no off taste, mild citrusy hop presence. So-so!... Hoppiness is light lemon and thin grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is nearly mute in background, for a mostly faint bitter malty finish; Slightly dry after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: I stayed away the flip-top green bottle for so long and waited for this canned version, only to be disappointed by its watered down approach. It’s not yet to the point of macro Pale Lager, but as a Premium, you just wish these macro big boys can have some heart, in putting less water and just let us taste the already pretty decent brew. We can wish for the sky, of course. Meh!

Helder geel bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en iets zuur, zuur fruit en graan. Blijft gemiddeld lang hangen. Heerlijk bier, één van de betere.

Fairly typical mass produced lager but better than a lot of the other contenders. Worth drinking on tap or from the swing top bottles, otherwise forget it.

Can in the park. Malty pilsner, not bad, but not my favourite. If you can get the "Beugel" bottle.

Transfer from BA review on 6-7-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours a golden straw color with a large white head. The head fades fast to give a very light amount of lacing. Smell – There is some light breadiness with a sweeter corn aroma. These aromas are rather light and are mixed with a bit of a skunky smell as well. Taste – The taste is as was experienced in the nose with the exception of the sweet. The taste begins with a bready base and a corn cereal maltiness. As the taste advances the corn flavor diminished with some light more bitter flavors coming to the taste. These at the end mix with a skunky and papery flavor leaving a not so pleasant taste on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The beer has a thinner body with a slightly lower than average level of carbonation. It is very average for a lager. Overall - Not a really good beer. Kind of classic lager with a UV burnt green bottle skunkiness.
