Regular Grolsch is forgettable but the Premium is better. I had a friend who used to drink this stuff all time. I sure do miss that guy.

I was shocked to see such low ratings on this beer. I know there isn’t much different that can be done with a larger or pilsner, but what else would you want from this style of beer? A great clean crisp tasting brew!

Great aroma! Love the crisp taste. I’m kind of an oddball in that I absolutely love skunky beers and this is the best.

From the 12oz bottle. Pours a very, very pale gold. Palest beer I’ve seen in awhile outside of Mich Ultra. Crystal clear. 1/4 inch dense and persistent head. Head dissipates, leaves nice lacing. Smells of grassy malt, herbal hops. Just a bit of light skunk. Taste is crisp grassy malt. Light bitterness in the finish. Persistent noble hops that build nicely. Hallertau or saaz? Don’t know but it’s a nice finish. Crisp and very clean mouth. A lightly sour finish. Lingering hops and fizzy mouth. This is shockingly tasty. Good stuff. Of the Eurolagers, this should be your choice.

UPDATED: OCT 9, 2007 My 50th beer and it was friggin awesome. The only reason that it’s rating isn’t as high as it should be is because it is a pale lager. A very good pale Lager. My hands down favorite of all the Lagers. That’s not just the Pale Lagers either; that includes Schwarzbiers, dopplebocks, etc.. Good honey colour and the taste and aroma are great too! The bottle was awesome but I drank this out of a shaker.

This is a great Pilsner. It has a light aroma . It is not to harsh on the palate and has a great flavor.

Smooth with low britterness, but noticable hop aroma and malt aroma. Note a technical paper that the gluten content is below 10ppm.
