Bottle. It poured a clear sparkling yellow with a light golden hue and had an average sized (1-2 finger) white frothy head that diminished almost completely but did have some retention throughout thus producing some fair lacing. The aroma was pretty basic for a lager. The nose was crisp with a mild grain malt, a moderate grassy hop and a somewhat barnyard scented yeast with a light odor of wet cardboard. It tasted very mildly sweet and acidic at first, and then became slightly bitter with a mild crisp hoppy flavor at the end that stayed with you just long enough to put a nice finish on this brew. Mouthfeel was nice and light in body and a bit watery in texture with a nice light creaminess. The carbonation was quite lively, almost fizzy. Overall as I stated before, it is a nice crisp hoppy lager. One I have drank in the past and will again in the future. Very Drinkable!!

A quite nice lager beer that works as both a thirst quencher and an intoxicant.

Popular Dutch ’pils’, most typically consumed from a 50 cl green bottle with shackle. Snow white head, pale golden blonde colour, clear with lively sparkling, which is reflected in strong carbonation, lending it a crisp effect; sharpish malt aroma, grassy hops, finishing medium bitter but a tad more so than many other Dutch standard lagers like Heineken, Amstel or Dommelsch and in that sense a better, more tasteful example of the style, though it stays a boring, industrial lager like the others.

Voor mij 1 van de beste Nederlandse pilseners die er Is. Als ik naar de kroeg ga heb ik liever grolsch dan heineken. Iets meer mineralen en bitterheid.

Bottle after bottle alongside waxy cup after waxy cup at OFF festival in Poland. Shame they never served a Polish beer. This was just fine though. Hot days go hand in hand with fizzy beer flavoured liquid after all. You do tend to find yourself racing the clock when you get to the halfway mark though. A bit of a ’Cinderella at midnight’ situation.

Drunk most recently during off festival. got through plenty of these, especially the last night with the dutchies. faintly hoppy earthy aroma, soft and malty taste with a fairly grassy bitter finish. fizzy as fuck and crisp. as cheap lagers go its decent and it gets you wasted so sall good

It’s ridiculously sweet in taste. In aroma it has just nothing. Can’t say anything about it. It’s exactly the same as other typical lagers.

Clear golden body with a thick white head. Sweet hoppy aroma. Taste is sweet with low bitterness. One of the good standard lagers.

This fine beer has got the perfect aroma of hops almost too good to drink but the taste is just great too , when served chilled it is crisp , hoppy and slightly sweet that seems to fizz in your mouth . I am more a lover of bitter or mild but this is one lager that I will always choose for a refreshing change . for me it beats all other lagers hands down as it seems to be the essence of what a good beer should be .

Clear yellow appearance with a white head. Slight aroma of yeast, pretty neutral overall. Taste has a average bitternes of hops with a watery aftertaste. Good refreshener but of course pretty much mainstream.
