pour dark gold, head quickly disipates to a soapy scum with little lacing. nose is bitter musty grain. flavor is earthy, musty with bitterness on back of tongue. medium bodied. not a bad tasting beer, but not at all refreshing. cool bottle though (so i gave it an extra point for appearance).

Sep 2, 2008 Poured from a 12oz bottle clear yellow with a big fizzy white head. Aroma is sweet malt and some hops. Flavor starts off with malt then turns bitter.

Sep 1, 2008 Updated: Sep 2, 2008500 mL bottle. Poured a nice gold color, with a quickly disappearing rocky white head. Not much aroma, some pine. Taste was even, with a bit of a bitter finish. Good beer, though not as interesting as the bottle.

Sep 1, 2008 essa pale lager holandesa se destaca por ter algumas caracerísticas que saem da tangente de suas congêneres. Em termos de aparência, tudo normal. Espuma branca e baixa, de pouca persistência. Coloração amarelo claro. Seu aroma é a área onde mais ‘surpresas’ aparecem, dada a miscelânea de notas encontradas. Melado e sopa de frutos do mar, para ser mais exato.
O gosto salgado é uma constante, no início, meio e fim, chegando a lembrar água do mar, até mesmo na duração. No paladar, um corpo leve, aguado e de carbonatação suave, complementados por uma sensação metálica

Aug 31, 2008 Pour from the swing-top bottle, pours with a decent white head, not too much carbonation. Taste is standard lagerness, nothing exciting, normal eurolager stuff but not as bad as some. The cool bottle is the best bit.
