Cloudy dark yellow with lots of bubbles streaming up to the bright white head. Slighty yeasty aroma. Texture is very smooth with only limited carbonation. Flavour is metallic and yeasty with a little fruit sweetness (banana). Clean on the pallet and very refreshing.

Bottle. Ran out of draught because the brewery had ran out of kegs! Only 4 or 5 pubs in UK have this at the moment and they underestimated demand. Bit like other Belgian whites, and its probably coming to a pub near you soon. Very thin and highly carbonated, not much flavour. Not a bad beer, but not an addition to the pumps that was really needed. Average. Can’t believe this is listed as a German Hefeweizen. It tastes nothing like one!

450 ml brown swingtop bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. ABV is 5.5%. Golden colour, slightly hazy. Huge white head. Strong and sweetish aroma of candy, banana, citrus and bubblegum. Typical hefeweizen flavour with banana and cloves, hints of citrus. Somewhat sweeter than the bulk of hefeweizens. Very refreshing.

Draught. Hazy pale golden colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is wheat, malts, citrusy hops and some slight notes of plastic. Flavour is citrus, wheat some malts and hints of caramel. A decent Hefeweizen, even though the plastic aroma ruins it a bit.

Had this after the pilsner, and am sure it said 5% on the tap, not 5.5%. Aroma is minimal, yeasty and a bit skunky. Taste is similar a bit sweet with a bitterish finish which i didnt expect.

Nice, pours with a large head, not a huge aroma but hints of vanilla all the same, easy to drink
