Grolsch Premium Weizen

0.33L bottle, small bubbley head that stays for a short time, hazy orangey lemony colour, text book banana and bubblegum aroma with lots of yeast and a touch of black pepper and pine resin. Flavours of lemon, bubblegum spice and that resin, nice meduim sour aftertaste. Intresting, pleasant weizen.

Lot of irregular foam and the standard white beer smell. with a little vomit (but that’s good in a white beer) There’s a strange plasticcy flavor to it that doesn’t make this that great.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a longlasting small white head. Hasa fruity wheat malty banana aroma with some hints of citrus. Fruity wheat malty spicy banana flavor. Has a fruity wheaty banana finish.

.Better beer than I’d have betted that Grolsch could construct. Ovbiously there is the banana ester signature thing ..its also creamy , salty and spicy.A good Hef effort .Very sinkable,maybe hollow but the right vibes are there.

Clear golden-orange in colour with a thin but lingering white head, average lacing. The aroma is of bananas, wheat, yeast with some light spice as well. The flavour is lightly sweet,some bananas, wheat, hay and yeast. Creamy lightly buttery mouthfeel, medium/light body, high carbonation. Finishes sweet, lingering with ever more bananas.

Thin and a bit watery, sort of like drinking candy bananas.

Clooudy honey colour with a decent white head. Smells of wheat and grass. Hint of fizz but quite smooth. Tastes of wheat.

Botella. Hazu golden colour, good white head. Wheaty banana fruity aroma. Good mouthfeel. Pleasant lightly bitter what fruity flavour.

A hazy golden weizen with a thick white head. A rather herbal malt aroma with light catnip. In mouth, a crisp malt with light herbs, but no typical bananas or cloves. Crisp and short, a bit oxidized. Bottle from LCBO, BB 14 dec. 2008.
