A hazy golden weizen with a thick white head. A rather herbal malt aroma with light catnip. In mouth, a crisp malt with light herbs, but no typical bananas or cloves. Crisp and short, a bit oxidized. Bottle from LCBO, BB 14 dec. 2008.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet wheaty combined with some bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of wheat, caramel, and citrus, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Bottle from ASDA. Cloudy gold in colour with a decent, frothy white head. Aroma of citrus, cloves and bananas. mouth feel was slightly grainy, with a suggestion of sour dough in the flavour along with spices and more bananas. A Hefeweizen that ticked all the boxes but was not particularly memorable.

Cloudy orange with thin, rapidly vanishing head. Spicy wheat aroma with clove, banana and a hint of smoke. Sharp citrus flavour with the usual banana and clove notes. Carbonation gives a pleasant light palate. Considered as a wheat beer there are far superior offerings out there but, taken on its own terms, this is a very pleasant tasting summery beer.
