Too carbonated to be great Weizen.
Not bad at all but can´t compete with Bavarian Hefeweizen. gnoff (3568), Göteborg, Sweden

The aroma has notes of banana, clove and wheat. The flavour has sweetness, notes of banana, light clove and its a bit subdued, but also uncomplicated. hughie (3053), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 21, 2008 Hazy gold with a large white head. Leathery, musty yeast aroma. Thin, slightly sour taste with soap and some sweetness. The merest hint of wheatiness. Quite a good quencher, though it’s a pale shadow of beers like the Franziskaner. buzzoven (333), Japan

Alas, the taste was not as promising as the smell made me belive...watery, thin-bodied and not too inspired. Not undrinkable by any means but I need a lot more spice in my brew.

This is very enjoyable - a smooth and creamy mouthfeel - wonderful fresh non-aggressive carbonation. Soft flavours - hints of savlon, but not strong, some alcohol, some mouldy leather, some banana, some orange zest - all the usual things found in a wheat beer, but this is soft, elegant and balanced. Very impressed.
